1. Booking Sessions

Tutoring sessions can be booked through the website, by email or by telephone. A booking is confirmed once the required deposit has been received.

2. Rates & Payment

• FREE 15 minute online introduction call via Teams Meeting
• £20 1 hour session (in-person)
• £35 2 hour session (in-person)

 

• Payment is required in advance or on the day of each session.
• A £10 deposit is required to secure your chosen booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid before or at the start of the session.
• Payment can be made by bank transfer or another agreed payment method such as cash.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• At least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the £10 deposit being retained.
• Missed appointments or no-shows will be charged at the full session fee.
• If a student arrives late, the session will still finish at the scheduled time.

If I need to cancel a session, I will provide as much notice as possible and offer either an alternative appointment or a full refund.

4. Tutoring Sessions

Every lesson is tailored to the individual needs of each child. While every effort will be made to support progress and build confidence, results cannot be guaranteed as each child learns at their own pace.

5. Parent Responsibilities

Parents or guardians are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information about their child.
• Informing me of any additional learning needs or medical information relevant to tutoring.
• Ensuring the child is ready to begin the session on time.

6. Liability

Reasonable care is taken to provide a safe, professional tutoring service. However, Tabitha Teaches cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage arising from the use of tutoring services except where required by law.

7. Student Behaviour

• Students must engage respectfully and appropriately
• Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in termination of the session without refund

8. Academic Integrity

I support learning and understanding. Tutors will not complete homework or assessments on behalf of students.

10. Termination

Either party may stop tutoring at any time. Refunds for prepaid sessions follow the cancellation policy.
